An exciting opportunity for a Camera Technician with a passion for travel to join a leading outside broadcast company based in the South East.
As Camera Technician you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment from cameras, lenses, microphones and more are fully prepped, maintained and rigged for each sporting event, whilst being a go-to person for repairs and damaged kit. In addition, you'll work with the creative team to rig interview sites, set-up ad-hoc studios and install go-pro and timelapse cameras whilst being given the opportunity to help with capturing footage and mixing audio.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience of working as a Camera Technician (or similar) in a broadcast environment with knowledge across a range of equipment including cameras, audio, lighting and grip kit. An interest and/or understanding of current TV production techniques and a passion for working with the latest broadcast kit would also be advantageous.
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be flexible and happy to work long hours and have the ability to travel internationally for long periods of time.
