Job Description

We have a very lucrative permanent job vacancy available for an experienced Director of Product Management with exceptional leadership skills, to join a world-renowned sports brand and digital media company based in Spain.

Working in close collaboration with the Head of Product, you will play a vital role in helping to define the vision, strategy, roadmap and product development process for the company’s portfolio of cutting-edge digital products, covering an array of multi-language OTT video platforms, websites, mobile apps and connected TV applications.

You will have a direct impact on the way sports fans around the globe discover and engage with VOD programming, news content and live sports streaming. 

Acting as a bridge between strategic product planning and delivery, you will lead a talented Product team, ensure project budgets and resource schedules are managed efficiently and product goals are achieved successfully. 

You will identify new business, product and feature opportunities and provide strategic product recommendations, by monitoring market trends and assessing the competitive landscape. Working with the Data & Analytics team, you will also define, analyse and report on product performance metrics, identifying issues and improvement needs. 

Candidates will have a proven background in digital product management at a strategic level, with extensive experience of delivering consuming-facing web, OTT video, connected TV and mobile apps in the sports broadcast or sports media industry. 

Previous experience of managing cross-functional teams within an Agile environment is essential, along with strong analytical skills, the ability to define measurable KPIs and successfully deliver results efficiently. 

With a people-centric approach, you will understand end user requirements and be able to translate these into actionable product strategies.

Excellent multi-tasking skills are required to manage multiple priorities and the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment is key. 

Applicants must have fluent verbal and written English skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and must be able to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels.
