Job Description

A major international sports broadcast organisation based in Spain is looking for a highly creative User Experience Designer, to join their product management division on an initial 12-month contract basis.

As an experienced UX and interaction design professional, you will solve complex business and functional problems across the company's digital and OTT video products, covering websites, mobile apps and TV platforms.

You will focus on the overall look, feel and functionality of each product from a user experience perspective, achieve synergy across all product offerings and ultimately make it easier for sports fans worldwide to find, engage and interact with unique content across the products 365 days a year.

You will evaluate and report on the existing usability of web pages & applications, understand product specifications and user psychology, and define the right interaction model.

Applying a fan-centric design approach, you will create user journeys, personas, interfaces, process flows, storyboards, wireframes, high fidelity designs and prototypes - all based on user research, interviews, feedback, usability testing, competitive analysis and wider market research.

You will play a key role in the design process to ensure the best fan experiences are achieved, providing valuable input when it comes to team decisions and ensuring all projects keep moving efficiently to successful launch.

You will also work in close collaboration with internal teams, developers, business stakeholders and external technology partners, to develop new products and digital experiences. 

Candidates will have a proven background as a User Experience Designer, ideally having worked on digital projects such as websites, apps or OTT video players, with a strong portfolio which demonstrates informed UX design decision processes, end user journeys, sketches and wireframes.

Experience of working with design software (Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD), digital technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS and native mobile software and the ability to create intuitive wireframes and multi-platform interfaces are essential.

This position requires an adept listener, a fast learner, an adaptable approach, a creative thinker, a strong interactive and visual designer and a good multi-tasker to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.

International travel may be required as part of this role, applicants must therefore be willing and flexible to travel at short notice.
