Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a leading media/broadcast technology company on a permanent basis.  

Joining an established software development team, you will take over ownership of key deliverables associated with their existing and next generation platforms which are deployed in major broadcast companies worldwide.  You will undertake development in C# and/or C++ (depending on experience) including integration and configuration work to ensure successful integration with the wider platforms ensuring all associated documentation is complete ready for release.   You will also work closely with internal stakeholders including, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Solutions Architects to ensure user stories are fully understood, blockers and issues are flagged immediately, and features are developed in line with expectations.  

Applicants should have a proven background in C#.Net development with additional C++ experience being highly beneficial.  Additional essential skills include experience of interfacing with RESTful APIs, utilising a messaging bus, and knowledge of key broadcast technologies and concepts such as broadcast/video routing.  Additionally, any exposure to NMOS specification, SQL style and non-SQL styles database is highly desirable.   

You should be comfortable working in an Agile environment with strong documentation skills and an ability to talk to both technical and non-technical people.
